My contributions also led to a +250% increase in YouTube subscribers and a +285% increase in organic impressions, with one YouTube Short going viral with 55 million impressions.

I effectively managed Sally Beauty's YouTube channel, implementing B2B marketing strategies that resulted in a +12% increase in subscribers. Additionally, I curated compelling content, maintained consistent brand messaging, and monitored social media metrics to drive a +320% increase in engagement.

Furthermore, I excelled in influencer research and outreach, establishing valuable partnerships and leading impactful campaigns like #HalloweenBySally, Black History Month, #SpringOutWithSally, and #SallyBeautyPride. Collaborating with PR and Influencer teams, I managed brand reputation and identified influential partnerships. Outside of campaigns, I contributed creative input and briefs to quarterly photoshoots, capturing both B2C and B2B content, and expanded brand exposure through events like DragCon, VidCon, and Dallas Pride.

My ability to drive brand growth and engagement, combined with my expertise in diverse social media platforms, has been instrumental in achieving exceptional results during my tenure at Sally Beauty as their Social Media Specialist.

Project Overview: 

During my tenure as the Social Media Specialist managing Sally Beauty's TikTok account (September 2021 - July 2023), my primary goal was to create engaging and innovative content to connect with our target audience and increase brand visibility. The project involved curating brand posts with a focus on hair color, hair care, nails, and cosmetic products.

By employing data-driven strategies and analyzing audience insights, I successfully achieved remarkable results. Within the project duration, our TikTok following experienced a significant growth of +218%, reaching an impressive 191K followers. The content's captivating nature led to an astounding 48.4 million impressions, showcasing a tremendous increase of +380% in brand visibility.

In terms of audience engagement, our TikTok account flourished with 14K comments and 1M likes, demonstrating the genuine interest and positive response from viewers. Additionally, our content resonated so well with the audience that it garnered 19K shares, further amplifying brand exposure and reach.

Overall, this project allowed me to showcase my expertise in social media management and effectively leverage TikTok's platform to elevate Sally Beauty's online presence, engage our audience, and drive exceptional results.

Every year in June is Pride month and it has been a pleasure to curate 3 pride campaigns for Sally.

For 2022's campaign we focused on the talent and their journey being their authentic selves. 

The content was filmed in one take and I edited the footage adding in clips highlighting their work.
